A presence that opens the way to more clarity
My way of coaching relies neither on noise nor on force. It relies on presence: deep listening, an eye that notices patterns, and the right questions — to bring clarity where there was confusion, coherence where everything felt scattered, and relief where it had hurt for a long time.
The people who come to me are often looking to get out of survival mode, reconnect with their body, go through a transition, or simply find a truer way to move forward. They usually leave with more self-compassion, more clarity, more coherence, and a renewed ability to take action aligned with what is true for them.

Annie Lachance

Annie Lachance, the coach by your side
My name is Annie Lachance. I am a PCC-certified professional coach with the International Coaching Federation, with more than twenty years of experience in helping relationships and mental health. I am also neurodivergent. So I don’t talk about neurodivergence from the outside: I know from the inside the inertia that has nothing to do with laziness, the cost of masking, and the fatigue of constantly having to translate yourself to get the right support.
What I share with you draws on three complementary sources: current research on neurodiversity, twenty years of clinical practice with people in distress, and lived experience. None of them is enough on its own: it is where they meet that shapes my approach.
Understand yourself better with Human Design
Human Design offers a new way to understand how you function, your needs and your natural way of making decisions. Starting from your personal chart, you can put words on some of your experiences, better recognize what truly suits you, and explore ways to move forward with more clarity and coherence.

Lachance Atypique in brief
What is Lachance Atypique?
It is my coaching and consulting practice, specialized in autism, ADHD and neurodiversity. I support people, diagnosed or not, who want to stop over-adapting and build a life or a business that takes their real way of functioning into account.
Who are you, Annie?
I am a PCC-ICF accredited professional coach. I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work with a specialization in mental health, and I spent more than twenty years in helping relationships, much of it in crisis intervention. I am also certified in the BodyMind Method, trained in embodiment coaching, and a certified analyst from the International Human Design School.
And I am autistic and ADHD (AuDHD). I found out at 44, following my son’s assessment. That moment was both a shock and a liberation. It put words on a long inner wandering. That is where my work comes from.
Why do you do this?
Because I spent years trying to function like everyone else before understanding that it was not a matter of effort. I don’t want it to take forty years for someone else.
Who I work with
Is your coaching for me if I don’t have a diagnosis?
Yes. You have nothing to prove to be here.
Whether you are diagnosed, going through an assessment, questioning, or simply recognizing yourself in what you read, you are welcome.
What you feel is a valid compass.
I don’t even know if I’m neurodivergent. I just know something isn’t working.
That is a legitimate starting point, and it is often how it begins.
You don’t need a word for what you are going through before coming to talk about it.
Do you only work with women?
My work is designed first for women and people assigned female at birth, because that is a context where neurodivergence often goes unnoticed.
That said, I also support men and young adults, depending on the request.
Write to me and we will see together if it’s a good fit.
Do you also work with entrepreneurs?
Yes, and it is a big part of my practice.
Positioning, work energy, creative cycles, business structure: we always start from your real capacity, not from a generic model designed for someone else.
Do you offer workplace training or talks?
Yes, on request.
Neurodiversity awareness, accommodations, supportive stance: write to me with your context and I will get back to you with a proposal adapted to your needs.
What I offer
What can I do with you?

And where does Human Design fit in?
It is one of the tools I use in my practice, but it is not the foundation of my work. Some people want to explore it in depth, while others will never hear about it during their coaching. You choose.
Do you have free resources?
Yes, several.

You can leave with something useful, even if we never work together.
In practice
Where are you located? Do I need to travel?
I am based in Quebec and work entirely remotely. Zoom, video or audio, phone or asynchronous: choose what suits you best.
Wherever you are, we can work together.
In what language?
French or English.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Everything you share remains strictly confidential, in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics, which I follow.
Is this therapy?
No. I do not diagnose and I do not provide treatment. Coaching starts from where you are now and looks toward what you want to build.
The two can coexist very well, and several of my clients also see a health professional.
Can I get a receipt for my insurance?
Receipts are available on request. Coverage varies a lot from one insurer to another, so check with yours.
How much does it cost?
Rates vary depending on the offer and format chosen. I present them during the connection call, once I have a better understanding of your needs.
Flexible payment options are also available.
Getting started
Where do I start if I don’t know what I need?
With a free 30-minute connection call. No commitment, no preparation and no decision to make that day.
We look together at what might suit you best. And if I’m not the right person to support you, I’ll tell you.
What if I book and don’t have the energy that day?
Write to me and we’ll reschedule. You don’t have to justify yourself.
